Therapy that meets you where you live

Mend Counseling LLC provides telehealth therapy to clients across Wisconsin. Most sessions happen by secure, HIPAA-compliant video through SimplePractice, so you can meet with a licensed Wisconsin clinician from your home, your office, or anywhere you have a private space and an internet connection — no drive, no waiting room, no arranging your day around an appointment across town.

Whether you live in the Fox Cities, Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Eau Claire, La Crosse, or a small town an hour from the nearest counselor's office, the same team and the same care are available to you. If you've been putting off therapy because getting to an office is the hard part, this page is for you.

How telehealth therapy works at Mend

Getting started is simple. Call us at 920-234-6842 (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm) and we'll help you find a clinician who fits what you're looking for. Sessions are held by secure video, and your information is stored in SimplePractice, a system built for private health information. Most clients are surprised by how personal video therapy feels — you still meet face to face, you still build a real relationship with your counselor, and many people find it easier to open up from a familiar space. Because our clinicians are licensed in Wisconsin, your care can also move with you: if you relocate across the state for work, school, or family, you can keep seeing the same counselor without starting over.

What we can help with

Our team of licensed clinicians offers individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy, along with specialized care including EMDR, trauma therapy, substance-use counseling, and art therapy. Many clients come to us for anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship challenges, and the lasting effects of difficult experiences. If medication might be part of your care, we also offer psychiatric evaluation and medication management with Mikiyas "Mike" Hailemichael, DNP, PMHNP — so therapy and medication support can live under one roof.
